Adriaan is a qualified Electronic Engineer (B.Eng.) from the University of Pretoria and completed his MBA (Masters in Business Administration) at the Graduate School of Management, University of Pretoria. He also completed various diplomas and short courses, specifically in the Project Management discipline, which include a Diploma in International Project Management form the School of Project Management (SPM) and qualified as a PMP (Project Manager Professional) from PMI (Project Management Institute) International.
Adriaan has a passion for Entrepreneurship and Business Development and has been involved in various business and product development roles, as well as started several companies, including Glovent Solutions.
As Founding Member and CEO of Glovent Solutions during the initial 12 years of the business, he carried the ultimate responsibility for the company’s establishment and growth. Glovent Solutions has grown into a successful business, employing more than 30 people throughout South Africa with international partnerships (www.glovent.net).
Adriaan has been involved in solution development and support mostly in the telecommunication and community industries (residential and municipal). During his time in the telecommunications industry, he working for Marconi Communications, Ericsson, Contract Kitting and Digitata, where he specialized in the implementation of telecommunication services and networks. He spent most of his recent career working in the residential community industry through his involvement with Glovent and was introduced to the South African municipal industry at Munsoft.

Adriaan holds an Honours Degree in Software Engineering from Belgium Campus ITversity and is an AWS Certified Developer. With nearly a decade of professional experience, he has built a reputation as a versatile full-stack developer, proficient across mobile, web, server, and database development.
Over the years, Adriaan has successfully guided multiple solutions from concept to production, always with a strong focus on scalability, sustainability, and long-term maintainability. His ability to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies ensures that the solutions he delivers remain relevant, efficient, and aligned with the latest industry standards and best practices.
A true polyglot developer, Adriaan is proficient in C#, Java, Node.js, Python, Angular, and React, allowing him to adapt seamlessly to different project requirements and technology stacks. His broad expertise makes him a valuable asset in delivering robust, future-proof solutions.
